Microformats and Microdata: are they still working?

At first a little history about these two formats for structured data. In 2011 and 2012 my company 3D Web Design was the biggest developer of plugins for microformats /that opinion is based on a one google worker, who shared me that in a personal conversation/. About Wordpress there wasn't such plugin yet, and/but the most popular for Microformats for Joomla were our, as the plugin had a free version, and was also integrated with almost all from the most popular components for Joomla (version history & supported components), apart from that we had a plugin about OsCommerce, after that we made a plugin for Zen Cart. When I've found out that "we successfully have entered of Guinness World Records" I searched in googles results with search operators about search for relevant footprint and I saw that plugin is using on more than 30000 web sites. :)

Yes, microformats truly worked and every site which wanted beter SEO and attendance and was aware of theis existence, wanted to use them. But all the work with these microformats was a constantly outwitting with Google: we make them to work but until the mount after that Google were changing the rules. That was over a year and a half. In my reason the objective was always to increase the number of sites which are constantly using benefits from microformats.

Before some years, I had more than 10 sites, which have had a results in Google with microformats and the attendance and ranking of each of them were significantly improved - for the years 2012 and 2013 CTR was parameter in the algorithm of search engine with over 6% burden.

Nowadays the actual format is called: Microdata.

Today Microformats and their actual variant Microdata working only for recipes. Most of the sites which want to have structured data are online stores. But about them are working only parameters: price, availability and publisher (rel="publisher").

Examples:

1. OpenCart shop developed by Vasil Toshkov.
2. OsCommerce store made by 3D Web Design (the stars are also visible).
3. The same store, but already in Google serp (in this variant the stars are not there).
4. Other shop made of 3D Web Design in Google.
5. Sait of 3D Web Design (Joomla site).

Why stars dont't work and why they don't show in results in serp? Just read my answer here, quote: "Note that in google rules is written: there is no warranty that stars will be shown for every website. So, stars work only for selected websites."
