New update of simplepie parser, new version will immediately lead to increased performance, but not work with some type of rss feeds like rss feeds generated from google blog search.

Attention: New version does not import some Rss feeds! If you have trouble with some feeds - use old version.

Where to upload simplepie parser?
You should replace file simplepie.inc which is in the following location -
administrator/components/com_aggregator/inc/simplepie

Or simply download file attached in this post.

Attention!!!

After two weeks of tests i found that new version of simplepie parser is problematic! New version not work with some rss feeds like feeds from google blog search and many others.

If You have troubles with import of some rss feed, we recommend to use old version of simplepie parser like 1.1.2.

v.1.1.2 is attached in this post.

Google news have protection from aggregators and importing of news from Google news is not allowed.


If you got an error when trying to import rss feed from Google news try this guide: Joomla Aggregator Like Mozilla Firefox
