Importing Meta Data In K2 Bug Options

Hello, and thanks for the nice component.

I want to report for one bug I found. When you are importing Meta Data in K2 and specially meta description, I have problems when the article text begin with special characters - in my case ©
For example - in source code view I have the next for description tag(notice that there is no any text, and also there is a lot of empty space, which is not looking good:

I try another article which starts with normal characters , and it imports the description in K2, but again I have a lot of еmpty space inside the tag:

Can you please fix this in your next version, to be possible to accept and special characters. If there was an option to streap special
characters in article text, than I would use it , but there is only stripping of special characters in article title.

Also as you know if in k2 item , there is no any manual meta description, for description it gets the beginning of the article. So if you can add an option in Scraper to choose what to import in k2 meta data - Meta Description - Yes/No, and keywords (from tags) - Yes/No.
With such an option we can avoid the problem with importing special characters in meta description
