UK Webmaster Forum SEO Contest

After planning, Webmaster Serve UK SEO Contest is here. Over a 3 months period you have chance to show that you are the better SEO guy and optimise a web page or a web-site to rank number 1 for keyword / keyprase that Webmaster Serve will announce.

Google.co.uk will be used to determine the winner at 12.00 midnight on 11-th May 2011. You can see positions at Webmaster Serve leaderboard which can be found here. So that you do not need to read through a lot of rambling to get to the meat of this contest, I have posted the salient point in the form of questions and answers below. SEO Contest Rules are:

1. In first instance you must register.
2. URL of the page/site used for the contest must be in English.
3. Sub domains of well known bloging platforms such as wordpress.com, bloggers.com etc are not allowed.
4. Your contest url homepage must provide add one of the suggested baclinks to the url indicated, the link MUST be a dofollow.
5. If you use an existing domain, the page, sub page or domain that are used must not have any backlink at the start of the contest.
6. ONLY white hat SEO techniques are allowed. You will be disqualified if you employ black hat SEO methods.
7. Webmaster Serve allow only one entry per participants.
8. Webmaster Serve reserve the right to reviwse or amend these rules.
9. If there is need for adjudication on any matter, decision of the contest organisers is final.
10. You may not use signature/link from Webmaster Serve forum as part of your promotion strategy, hehe, cool
