Can I know how should I update this component? Do I uninstall the old version and then install the new version? Will I lose my data?

Hmm... You ask a this question in some bad moment - here is end of business week, all programmers are not on work.

At this time i am not sure is working installer well in upgrade mode. Only files are updated in latest version, not database. If you want to be sure, make copy of your database before install of new version of component and upload files over ftp.

I have a question regarding this.

Are the points show for each month cumulative and added from month to month? For example, if in January I get 5 points, and February I get 6 points, then if I choose to show the points for February, will it show 6 points or 11 points? If it shows 6 points, how can I display the total number of points that a user has?

The reason for this is because these prediction games are usually played over a whole sports season or tournament, so at the end of the season or tournament, it will be useful to know which user has the most points in total.

Now are not cumulative.

Is it possible to add a function to see the total points per use for each tournament?

Yes, is possible, but in next version. Maybe in next one-two months.

hello, I am having problems styling the component, what id or css class do I use to style it?

I edit the style.css in the css folder but that is just for the inner content of the module, how do I set a background to the component and styling the component heading?

You may need to edit default.php file in view folder, just search for right file - are many files, one for each view - matches, history and others.

may I make a suggestion for the software?

what if the admin could choose to have a winner per tournament, instead of per month? it would have a lot more flexibility, and have the option to display tournament stats in the module instead of just monthly stats

This function is already developed in next version of component. Next version of Sports Predictions is ready and will be published in next one-two days

what is the default for the component? does it show games by tournament or month? it seems to be showing by month. can we set it to show specific tournaments?

Currently there is no such a setting existing. You have to alter the component's code to achieve this.

Today I have bought the extension. Thank you for making it, the extension works fine. There are some things I'd like to tweak though:

- The match date is shown as 2013-02-01 18:00:00. Can this be altered so it shows 01-02-2013 18:00?

- When I use the module which shows the standings, the link to a user returns a 404 error. I believe this has to do with SEO (+ url rewrite) being enabled. Is there a way to solve this?

Hi, Tim!

The 404 error was due to a bug in our module. It is now fixed.
I have added an additional component setting: Date format. You may now choose between the default format YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS and the format you have requested: DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM.

The new version 1.2.4 is already available for download.

New date formats will be added upon request.

There is no way to install without component Joomla Payments (previous name "Mosets Tree Payments").

You have buy only Sports Predictions for Joomla component. In package is for FREE plugin for "Mosets Tree Payments" but you dont have "Mosets Tree Payments" installed.

Welcome. No, I just bought Sports Predictions component. One of the joomla plugin output payments. Got it. Mosets Tree Payments need to buy! Not understand correctly !
How can I prevent someone else from seeing my bets? Is there such a feature, or I wonder?
