What is ping? Ping is mechanism to notify blog, website or server. Most used is to notify search engine for changes on your page, on your xml sitemap or on your RSS feed (RSS feeds can be also used as sitemaps in Google Webmaster Tools). So, to notify Google to index some page (or to re-index this page), you must ping Google. To ping Google bot, you must open in your browser this url:

for example http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/...bdesign.org/rss

You are somewhere on the web, see something and you want to send this to Google to index it fast and simple. You need just one new mre button (bookmark) in your brwser. To have Ping button in your browser, you must make one new bookmark in your browser and after this to change link to this simple javascript.


1. Open some website, for example google.co.uk.
2. Drag and drop url to your bookmarks panel.



3. Edit your new bookmark. Right click over bookmark - > Properties.



4. In Name field enter: Ping.



5. In url enter this code:

Now when you are on some url and click on ping button in your browser, you notify Google to index this page (Ping to Google).
