Author Field Is Not Recognized Options

I have installed 3daggregator platinum for Joomla 1.6. It works OK except this: it does not recognize the author of the articles.
I have tried to set the following tags for the items in the RSS: <author>, <source>, <dc:creator>... but no one works.
Which tag I have to use in order to get/set the article's author?

The author always sets to admin, and alias - the default author I set in the configuration.

For your type of RSS feed (http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/, ver. 2.0) the right tag to mark an author is <creator>:

<item>
...
<creator>El Diario Vasco</creator>
...
</item>

This won't work too, though. The problem is with the simplepie XML parser the component is using. It tries to catch the <creator> of the whole channel and not the one of an item... It is possible, however, to retrieve the <creator> tag of an item and to save it as a created_by_alias of the article. You will have to set the "Show author" menu link setting to TRUE as well.
