There is a problem importing rss items on my website. Trying to do this - I get a ***ERROR:DB function reports no errors message. The feed contains new content, so there is content that can be imported to the website. This is with the function 'import all' and 'import' of a specified feed. Also - the cronjob is not working on my website. I would like to check every hour if there is new content on the other website: prntscr.com/320w0 - but it's not working. How am I able to fix this? |

Please, check number of your content items and version of php. Try to enable option "Safe alias" in publish tab also. If possible create one temporary admin account for us in your site to see and resolve the problem.

We found the reason for this error - its the Joomla 1.7 trash system. If there is an article (even trashed) with the exact same alias as the one that is to be imported, Joomla does not allow the new article to be imported and hence the error and the components stops processing the feed.
We've updated the component's version so now it will not quit processing the feed but will try to import the next article. An error message is still issued, though. I send you the new version today. Please test it. How its work now: If in your database is article with the same title, new article with this title will be not imported! Is possible to import articles with duplicate titles/aliases only if using: "safe alias" option. This is restriction from Joomla 1.6/1.7, not from our component!
