Questions About Post By Email Options

I was very pleased to discover this extension -- I very much wanted to use Agora on a new site that I'm developing but the old setup for the original website is a little tricky and I was tempted to try and use a phpbb bridge with m2f somehow running. The old site which contains a forum and mailing list is set up in a rather complex fashion to accommodate users in very low bandwidth areas (28.8 and lower) who can't get on to the web, and must interact by email with the forum. The old one is set up a follows:

Functionality

• Users can post/reply on the web in phpbb3 or from an email client
• Users can read all posts on the web in phpbb3 or in their email (settings) - with attachments (not links to download them)
• All posts are human moderated prior to showing on forum or being disseminated by email
• Content is RTF / HTML with attachments etc
• Currently about 1500 subscribers

Setup

• Phpbb3 = web forum
• Listserv = Moderation
• M2F (mail2forum) = link between the two

Assuming that I can heist the output of Forum Submit button and email it to my listserv address for moderation and dissemination, presumably, I can use EmailToPost the same way that the old setup was using M2F outside of Joomla, but with Agora instead of PhPBB to feed posts back into the forums? I wish that there was a one does all package out there but as far as I can tell, nothing really performs at level of the current setup on the site that I'm porting to Joomla -- hence the interest in this post and Module.

And if that does work, will forum reply threading happen correctly? From the screenshot, it looked like one sets the default folder -- but is that just for new messages, or for all? In the above setup, messages thread perfectly when people hit "reply" to mails that they get from the forum and M2F+PHPBB3 seem to for the most part thread them correctly. Also, what about attachment tolerance/control? Sorry about all of the questions... I would just buy a copy and try it but would rather avoid installs/uninstalls when possible.

Ok - more simply!

1. Is your application similar in functionality to mail2forum (M2F) for phpbb3?
2. If there is another transport to deliver messages to users by email, and they reply and this goes through your extension to post, will the reply thread correctly (in the right topic) when it posts on the forums?
