I'm using PBM 1.8.1 with joomla 2.5.6 and Kunena 3.1.
Everything is O.K for articles, but there is a problem with Kunena which I couldn't solve till now.
When the option "Post as reply" is enabled, email is imported but is not added to the specified post. I get the following error message"
ERROR (com_kunena) Unable to post message : Category Not Found
When "Post as reply" option is disabled the email is pulled successfully and add to the correct forum as a new post and not as a reply to the post specified in the email subject.
By sure, there something that I'm missing in the way that the email subject should be formatted in order to be posted as reply. This is the way I use to format the subject of the email :

Note : Both email content and Kunena forum posts are in Arabic Language

I think that mail subject is wrong. Read from above link carefully.

Yes, I read it and tried to put the email subject as mentioned, but unfortunately the same error continues.
I think the problem is due to using Arabic in category names. I made a test category named "Test" and posted a topic with title "Topic1" in this category, then when I sent a mail with the subject "Re: Topic1 (Test)" it was successfully added to the correct topic, althought I could not open the newly added message due to unknown error.

I just want to make sure if the component supports ARABIC before I try other solutions, because all my category names and topic titles are in Arabic.

Did you add appropriate(Arabic) values for "Reply tag:"

It should support Arabic but is not tested.
Component contains lots of regular expressions and string functions.
PHP is NOT unicode compatible. When ever is possible we use multibyte functions, but you never know.

Yes, I have add the required(Arabic) values for "Reply tag"..
After some tries and test, I think I have found the reason for the problem. I noticed that the email subject is stripped out when it is posted in the form, either as new post or a reply to already existing post. I counted the characters (letters) posted to be 23 in every Arabic post or message I tried to add via email. Therefore, I think the title shouldn't exceed 23 characters long (Am I right??).
To prove this, I made a post with a title only 5 character long, then when I sent an email as reply it was posted successfully as message in this post.

Could you please advice how to extend/increase the characters allowed in the post title??

I think that this limit is not from Post By Email. I have tested with up to 60 characters and works ok.
Possible reason can be some mail server configuration. Subjects of emails are read with pop3 protocol.
There can be some kind of restriction form your mail server. I am testing with gmail account.
Try with gmail. If this don't help I will need access to administrator and FTP in order to help you.

I tried with gmail, put login attempt by PBM was blocked although login data was correct. I got an alarm message from gmail notifying that hacking attempt has been blocked.
The message titles are correct and complete in the mail box I used to collect content for PBM, also when forwarded to gmail. They are trimmed only when that are imported to the site by PBM.
I give up at this point as it is beyond my experience. Your assistance is appreciated..
