I just installed the component and when I click on the icon in administrator i get this error on joomla 1.5.23:


Fatal error: Cannot redeclare convert_to_utf8() in /home/d4dirty/public_html/whitewidowincognito.com/administrator/components/com_aggregator/controller.php on line 0

Please, give us details - version of component, version of joomla?

Hello,

I got almost the same error. Here it is:
Fatal error: Class AggregatorController cannot extend from interface JController in /home/anatolya/public_html/allmedianews.net/_newstest/administrator/components/com_aggregator/controller.php on line 0

So I'm using Joomla 3.1.5, scraper version: com_aggregator_scraper-J25-1.9.3-b201307291200

Ioncube is installed regarding the wizzard. The only change I made in comparison to the walkthrougs in the forum is that I point to ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so , because of the PHP 5.3

Any advice about this mistake ?

Scraper have separate version for Joomla 3. To use Scraper on Joomla 3 you must install file com_aggregator_scraper-J30-1.9.1-b201307291200.zip - this is latest version for Joomla 3.xx and is with fixed this error.
