Hello 3DW team,

I have difficulties to get MicroFormatsVotes to work. I installed it and it is being shown in the front end correctly. But when I click to vote, the loading images appears - and stays. The voting doesn't work. I also changed the file permissions of ajax.php to 755 (as recommended in a form thread here), but that didn't help.

(I use Joomla 2.5.8 and MicroFormatsVotes 4.0.)

Could you please assist me to get this working?

It seems that the JavaScript fails for some reason. Could you please give us a link to a page where this happens?

Problem solved. defines.php didn't reside in the includes folder, but in the root folder. Since Microformatsvotes trys to access includes/defines.php, it failed.

Solution: Moved defines.php into includes folder (as it is Joomla standard).

There is no such a issue with plugin. May be your server files/folders permissions are strange or some files are not uploaded within install process.
