How Increase The Time Limit Of Feed Processing? Options

Hi , I have a problem the default time limit to process each feed is 10 seconds but sometimes return without results (but there are..). How increase this time limit to 20 or 30 seconds ?. Thanks.

Dont work, i have this lines in my php.ini and always interrupt at 10 seconds without feeds processed (at least that it finish sooner with the feeds processed):

display_errors = Off;
register_globals = Off;
allow_url_fopen= On;
max_execution_time = 30;

I think that the modication have to be done in the component. I have to processed two times the same feed to have results.

I have find the in the file simplepie.inc in the directory (admin/inc/simplepie/) some lines that could are relationed with problem. Can you verify them?

Example:

Line 439 : var $timeout = 10;

I think that is one of this $timeout, but which is?

Some hosting companies dont allow changes of php settings from php.ini. You create some php.ini, enter options inside but nothing happened.

Please, send question to support of your host, this is the only way. Make sure also that requirements are ok, version of php must be 5.2.xx and memory_limit is over 32 mb (64 and more recommended)

This modification appear that work well. There are change the line 439:

var $timeout = 10;

I can check that the time to process the feed change by two factors:
- The cpu perfomance of database.
- Number of articles because check if its title is duplicated to avoid duplicate content (good for SEO).

I am trying the lite version (v1.15)
