Post By Email - Unique Alias Error, [solved] Options

I have Post by Email 1.10.1 running on a Joomla! 3.4.1 environment and I am getting an error when the cron job runs and there is more than 1 email process. The error is:

***ERROR (com_content) Unable to add article: JLIB_DATABASE_ERROR_ARTICLE_UNIQUE_ALIAS
2 emails were processed (feedback@northmeade.com) in 1 seconds.

How do I set it up so that it can process more than 1 email and not have duplicate aliases?

To switch off duplicates protection, use option Use MD5 aliases. This will generate aliases of content items as MD5 string with date, hour and second inside and no matter are your articles only with one title or not, all imported articles will be with different urls (aliases).

Thank you for the quick reply. I have the MD5 alias set to "yes". I just rechecked by sending 2 emails to the email address each with a pdf attached. Here was the cronjob error:

0 emails were processed (traffic@capadaroct.com) in 0 seconds.
0 emails were processed (feedback@capadaroct.com) in 0 seconds.
2 emails were processed (analytics@capadaroct.com) in 1 seconds.
0 emails were processed (cma@capadaroct.com) in 0 seconds.

If I just send 1 email with a .pdf attachment, it works just fine. What am I missing?

It still is not working. What other settings do I need to change? Please help.

P.S. I thought in my previous posts you want to import duplicate items. But now i see you want to import many items with duplicate titles at once, in one import. This is not possible with current version.

I just written some more description on PostbyEmail functions page to explain in details how extension works, what is possible and what not:

Joomla have duplicate content protection. If you want to import many emails with the same titles, you must use options "Use MD5 aliases" or "Add timestamp", or both!

In this way with "Add timestamp", date, hour, minute and seconds of import will be set as alias of imported content item.
With "Use MD5 aliases" will be added MD5 sum of title plus date, hour, minute and seconds.

Import of items with duplicate titles is possible only for one item at once - with every next import will be imported one new item with unique alias. And we recommend you to set option: "Delete processed e-mails" to YES. In this way on first import will be imported one item and this item will be deleted, on import two will be imported again one item and will be deleted, and so....

Ah-ha! Yes, that is the issue. I guess the way around it is to schedule frequent cron jobs so that there aren't more than 1 item to import at a time. Thanks for the help.
