Problem With Duplicate Items [solved] Options

Hi, eileenod.

Unfortunately the "Ignore Duplicated Items" setting is somewhat misleading: The PBM component tries to save an article with duplicated alias, but it gets rejected by the com_content component. There is absolutely no way to have articles (or whatever entity) with duplicated aliases in Joomla. The alias is a unique property of the entity.

This was not the case in earlier versions of Joomla, where duplicate aliases were, indeed, accepted, leading to very strange results when importing multiple articles, using a script and md5 hashed aliases.
