hello, I would like to make the component viewable to the public

can you help me out with some instructions?

Maybe we just dont understand your question. What you mean with "make the component viewable to the public"?

It means that if I am not logged in and I try to access the component on the front end I get a system message saying 'please log in'

I dont want that, I want people to be able to view the front end even when not logged in

yes but I want visitors to see the component

if a visitor comes and sees nothing he leaves, if he sees the component he might like it and sign up to make his own predictions

can you help me out?

you are right, I apologize

for anayone else that want to do it I went to


/components/com_sportspredictions

and in file sportspredictions.php I commented out lines 17-21

now public can see the component, obviously still have to sign up to make predictions
