Google Penguin 3 - evidence and results.



After first Penguin update in April 2012 3D Web Design start to offer cheap SEO service with brand backlinks - follow links from microblogs (link to service in english and in bulgarian).

Till now we have more than 380 orders - from punished from "Google Penguin 1" sites or from sites that want to avoid Penguin penalty. Service bring very good results for some of punished sites (bring them again on positions), for others - not so good, only very small improvement of positions.

So, clients with "sites without results" after our service was not so happy, but now..... 90% of all of these sites without results in 2012, are again on positions.

So, let's remind you what is Google's Penguin 3.0 (official data from Google):

Penguin 3 started on October 17-th.
Will continue to roll out next few weeks (different countries, different dates).
Is a WORLDWIDE algorithm update.
Penguin 3 impacts about 1% of English queries (may have smaller or greater impact in other languages)
Is only algorithm refresh, no new signals added. It helps sites recover from previous Penguin updates that fixed their link profile.

OK, but where to see evidence for the latter?
We at 3D Web Design are SEO agency with some number of clients. And we check rankings of more than 30 of our clients every day. Here, in Bulgaria in last 10-15 days punished from years from "Google penguin" websites now going again on positions. I post here some screens with positions after Google Penguin 3.0. One of sites on screens is our property. To this site is not added no one link in the last one year. See screens (are form Bulgarian sites only, sorry):




So, so far in the Google algorithm was "hardcoded" values - whatever you do, whatever links you add or remove to your site, does not affect the ranking of site (if site is with strong Penguin 1 penalty). That's over two years punishment - from April 2012 to November 2014!

Now, with the latest (Penguin 3) update, Google actually checked again the relevant backlinks of "punished" sites and if its backlinks proportion has improved and is within the normal range, Penguin 3 restoring the site positions. We observed this scenario in more than 10 old, punished sites, so we can tell you only one thing: DO NOT FORGET your sites punished by the first Google Penguin!
