Hello,

I am using Post by Email to send Blog entries from aboard a sailboat on a world cruise using ssb-radio. The ONLY mail program I can use is called "Airmail" -

It worked perfectly well only three weeks ago, but not anymore. I have absolutely no idea what could be wrong, I didn't change anything ...
The emails are in the inbox but they don't get processed. Do you have any idea what I could try? Is there any information I can send you so you can help solve the issue?

Probably now in email box are too many emails. And post by email can't execute all due an php limits. Try option "delete processed emails" and check your memory limit and max execution time - both are php settings.

Thank's for the quick response!
"delete processed emails" is activated, the mailbox is otherwise empty. If I send email with "Airmail" mailprogram, Cronjob says "1 emails were processed (Planet Ocean Blog) in 0 seconds."
But the email is not deleted from inbox and not added to the website content ...
If I send from "Thunderbird" mailprogram, it works perfectly fine. Email content is added and email deleted from inbox.
Do you have any other idea what could be the reason?

By the way - the same happens when two emails have the same "subject"
I take care when testing every email has different "subject".

I tried "recent" mode - can't connect to mailserver, it's not Gmail and does not have recent mode.
Everything works fine when I send Email with thunderbird mailprogram.

Emails are processed according to Cronjob Statement but
- NOT added as content on my website and
- NOT deleted from server
if I send the emails with Airmail mailprogram OR webmail (no matter if text only email or html email)
I tried md5alias yes/no and timestamp yes/no - does not change anything ...

Do you have any other idea? I'm a little desperate - we will start ocean cruising soon and then I don't have internet and can only send with "Airmail" mailprogram ...

This is due on joomla duplicate content protection.



Try these options:
Use MD5 aliases : YES
Ignore duplicated items: NO
