well, the jist is, it gives you a rating based on how close your prediction was to the final result, the more accurate your prediction is, the lower your rating. so perfect prediction (exact score and winner) = 0 rating


the rating is calculated on three parameters from the look of the formula, a) predicting the correct team to win, B ) predicting the correct number of goals and c) predicting the correct score

In this version you don't have setting how many points user gets, all is calculated over complex alghorithm. You have manual - pdf file inside package. All is inside.

I actually like the new version standings, it adds so any parameters and makes the standings quite accurate, the old version was too simple

This update is only for Joomla 3.x users. Only Joomla 3 version is updated!

List of changes:

1. New front-end view named "Predictions Plus Passed Games"
1.1 In this view passed games don't disappear when game is completed. Input fields for prediction becomes disabled and game date is transformed to link which leads to game details page.
2. More information in "User Standings" front-end view. Demo: http://soccerpredictions.top/my-results?users_id=921
2.1 Now "Rank" is displayed for each period.
2.2 New table with rank and average values for all time is displayed on the bottom of the page. Table data is calculated by tournament.
2.3 New options in back-end configuration.
2.3.1 "User Standings/Rank" - Turn On/Off "Rank" in "User Standings" front-end view.

For some reason if get parameters are set: "?timezone=Africa%2FBamako&option=com_sportspredictions&view=matches&Itemid=663"
Then site is infinitely loading it self. I've made test with default joomla template and everything works fine.
Problem is not with "Sports Predictions" component. There is javascript incompatibility between template and maybe something in "Sports Predictions"

Hi,

I have installed "com_sportspredictions-v.1.4.6.1" for joomla 2.5.6. I wanted to try new things in my bet competition , which the new version is providing. I have added lots of matches, everything worked perfectly, "tab function" as well. I have dedicated lot of time to it but eventually realised that the people involved in the betting competition can see their bets between each other even though it is set up as inaccessible. In version "com_sportspredictions-1.4.3" it worked fine without any problems. Can someone help me to repair it without installing the previous version and adding all the matches again? Thank you
