e-mails are being posted in Kunena forums as selected, and in the category selected, but they are ALL being posted by me, even though the e-mails are being sent by different people. This function didnt happen before, and the extension posted using the email address of the person sending in the email. Error 2: Even though I have selected the option for 'Post as reply' as 'No', all messages are being posted as replies to the same, old thread on the forum instead of creating a new topic This post has been edited by Web Design Seo: Feb 25 2014, 02:02 PM |

Is this with kunena 3? Kunena 3 is not yet supported (Kunena 3 stable version is released in January). Post by email support only Kunena 2 for now. Update is planned and will be ready next week. Ah.. it said on the extension that it was Kunena 3 and joomla 3 |

Sorry, my mistake - Post by email support Kunena 3 and Kunena 2. Still having this issue, although it is now posting by the correct user. It is simply posting in an old topic instead of starting a new topic. I have 'post as reply' set to 'No' hmmm... id DOES seem to be odd at the minute. SOME posts are as a new topic, and some are added to an older topic |

This is protection forum floating forum with threads which already exists! I have it now posting in different threads, but all posts are now by me. This is coming from the 'Publishing' settings. When you chose to post in Kunena, there is no option to clear the 'Item Created by', or to select 'Sender' Only registered people can fill in the application form, and I want the forum post to be created by the sender, and not by one specific person. This was working fine on Joomla 2.5.x with both Kunena 2 and Kunena 3. It is only since I upgraded to Joomla 3.2.2 that this issue crept in |

This problem is presented only when posting as Anonymous in Kunena 3. Now is fixed! If you allow posts by anonymous, sender name will be displayed as poster name in forum. Updated version of the component will be available for download from 2014-02-26. Version names are: For Joomla 2.5 - post_by_email_pro_1.8.3-j2.5-201402251500 For Joomla 3.x - post_by_email_pro_1.9.3-j3.x-201402251500 Configuration for Anonymous posting: Set "Kunena -> Allow posts by guests:" to Yes. Set "Filters -> Accept from registered users:" to No. You are required to set "Thread ID:". Anonymous can post only in existing threads. -------------------- Php programmer in 3D Web Design

When I clicked on 'Download' and went to save it, it had the same filename as the previous version, so I cancelled the download to come back to this page and check whether or not the filename had changed, or if there was a date for the update. When I went BACK to my download area, it tells me that my downloads are now 'expired'. Great. I point out a bug in the software, you fix it and I can no longer download the fix. Nice way to do business. Cannot understand why you have a strict 3 download limit. Makes a LOT more sense to limit the download TIME to 6 months or a year rather than 3 downloads. If you release 3 bug fixes in 3 days, then a user has used his entire allocation in a 3 day period. This post has been edited by Andy Taylor: Feb 25 2014, 01:41 PM |

Andy Taylor, All bugs in our extension are described as php code her in our forum and all users can make these fixes yourself for free, without any download. But this is not bug in our extension, this is just new update in Kunena 3.
Do you think we must update extension for free every time when k2 team update k2 with new feature and when Kunena team update Kunena with new feature? And do you think i am happy to find these updates and to update this extension all the time because K2 change strusture of their database for example? This is 2-3 hour work for cents and this is not our priority. Better to take money from these 3 pre-paid custom mods that wait us. To other question: Yes, filename is the same. But new updates are inside. If you think i want your money, just send me email (from email used in your order) and i will send you latest version. For free of cross. Topic closed and marked as solved. Edit: new version was sent to user.
Reason for edit: new version was sent to user
