also can i make a suggestion? when we create menu item and choose to show tournament or standings, why not give ability in settings to chose which tournament to show and which tournament to show standings for? and also how the standings should be ordered?

As you can see new version is for Joomla 2.5 ONLY. You are using joomla 3.x and this upgrade is not suitable for you.

This was the initial idea for standings view(and not only). We still do not have enough time to implement this interface.

By that I meant whether it is possible for users to see predictions between each other after the start of each match. There is that option in this system but predictions for other days will also appear and it is not good due to objectivity

You have 2 ways to earn money from our component. Here is some explanation about laws and types of games:

Way 1:Free Games in website, paid access to Hystory. This way is 100% legal in all countries, in all world. You have free site, no gambling. Your users receive some extras for money - paid access to hystory, to see user other users predictions. We can add more ways like this, we need to develop only more plugins for our payments component Payments for Joomla.

Way 2: Only paid Games in website. If games are described as "PAID", this will be gambling and this way is legal only in some countries in the world. This way will be possible on 100% with next Sports Predictions extension with name Asian Handicap (wil be released in next 2-3 business days).

If your site will be with paid games, I don't know where to register your company and where to buy hosting for your site. But for sure there are many countries to do this also. And for sure the BIG MONEY are accessible only in this way - with gambling and paid games.

the problem is that this is how my website menu is structuered


e.g.

competition no1.
standings for competition no.1
user standings for competition no.1

competition no.2

standings for competition no.2
user standings for competition no.2

and so on and so on

i guess I cant do that then

No, Joomla cache is not a problem - enable it if you want faster website. I mean cache from Joomla global configuration, not system cache plugin. System cache plugin can be a problem - users will see the right results only after clicking on refresh button.

hello, I apologize for asking so many questions, usually they are important ones

I have set my joomla timezone to gmt +2

and all my game times are gmt +2, but there seems to be a difference of about 8 hours

so my games dont go offline until 8 hours after game time

which means I have to be present at starting time of every game to take it offline


I was looking for the instructions about time zone but couldnt find them, I remember seeing them somewhere

ok I just added my first result, it was a draw, but everyone who predicted draw got a pref rating of 0, is that possible? game was atletico real which finished 2-2, should people which predicted the game to finish 1-1 for example, get a pref rating more than 0?

also standings are not consistent, every time i go back to check them the order of players keep changing
