Suggested from you option is already inside next version for joomla 3.xx. This version is ready, but will be available public after min. 2 weeks.

Exact option will be in next version for joomla 2.5 after minimum 6-8 weeks - at end of the year.

looks like your component is the only working prediction component for joomla 2.5, so i would buy it.

Before i buy it, i have to know about some functions, they must be included for my needs, it depends on how much the "custom developments" would cost if they are possible

- Add points for user manually (bonus points) /take points from user manually
- instead of the above one, "bonus tipps" maybe (i've asked this per e-mail already) where i can set the question, deadline and possible points as admin.
- full ranking, not only for one month, i would need a full ranking for one tournament for the whole season.
- working with Community Builder, username in rankings should link to the CB profile.
- select ranking for multiple tournaments
- modules (tournament ranking, prediction module, results module, eventually tournament table/ranking module)

Could you tell me how much i would have to pay when i want all of these functions? Please excuse my bad english, i am from austria.

Hi! I am working on the new component for joomla 3.x If is option for you to use joomla 3.x instead of 2.5 read below.

These options are already in next version of Sports Predictions for Joomla 3 (version is not yet published, will be in next 2 weks)

Now you can add predictions from joomla administrator panel for any user. This way you can control whole process. It won't be hard to add option for manual modification.

"ranking module", "tournament ranking", "results module" exists as single configurable module. With this module you can display standings for chosen tournaments and time intervals. You can select criterias for calculating the rankings.

This can be tricky. It must be explained in deep details. How do you imagine whole process?

hard to describe with my bad english skills.

I have an image from our actual predictions game (phpBB board):



thats the way it looks when the round is already over, otherwise there are fields to enter prediction. Above the matches are listet and unter them we have the extra questions. We can ask all what we want, for example, who will be champion, who will score the most goals and things like this. In backend, we set the questions: What is asked? When (which round) the question is asked? How many points are possible? Such things like this.

I hope you can follow me. But there would be an easier way. When i only could add points for the users, "bonus points" just like i give him a present, then i would ask the questions in the forum, i think this would be the easyer way.

And there will be new plugin for our payments component com_payments to make money from this option - users will see in profile page payment links to add some number of points to their accounts.

How can I make "Predictions History" page visible for people that are not loged in, like on your demo site? Old Predictions History is ok, but Predictions History for 1x2 shows log in first message

Is there a special way to make this schema.

Is it possible to export the groups and logo's so anybody can import them.

All of them are visible in front-end.
You need to create new menu item from type "Sportspredictions -> Predictions Page".
Then take a look on the configuration and more specifically to the following options:

Show Flags
Show Games to Everybody
Cancel Button(Predictions)
Ordering of Games
