 Post By Email Image Attachment Problem |

I have a J1.5 installation with PostbyEmail pro latest version installed. I can post emails to articles, but images never get posted. images are stored in the images/postbyemail folder correctly but never linked into the content article. i tried several options to send the email, but none worked. - posting inside the email (outlook>insert>image>> the image is right inside the email) gives a link in the article but like this: <div class="WordSection1"> <p class="MsoNormal">Testwithimage</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language: DE;"><img id="Picture_x0020_1" src="cid:image001.jpg@01CE0509.572CA030" height="583" width="480" /></span> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> </div> - posting as attachment does not link the article at all. my settings are: strip html tags = true accepted files: image/jpg;image/jpeg;image/pjpeg;image/png;image/gif container: <img src="%s" title="%s" /> thanks in advance! Yes, as i wrote, it did not work, trying it both ways... also as an attachment... it copies the image into the postbyemail folder but there is no link at all in the created article... |

Please, post here as code full email that you try to post (with header) or better send emai again to email test_test at 3dwebdesign.

I have emailed one of the mails i tested with to you.
This one was sent through outlook... i also tried the same from Gmail...same result.. |

Rossi, don't forward email! We receive some email from you but forwrded. Forwarded email is changed and can not be tested! Send us original email. Open email, see email code (you must have some option with right click), copy full code, paste in one new email and send it to us.

The PBM component does not work with forwarded (or attached as .eml) messages. Could you please send us a newly created message with as many attachments as you wish? Then I will check what is happening. Best regards, Ivan |

Best regards, Ivan Yes i know - of course it doesn't work with attached .eml messages - i was just forwarding you the mail that i have sent to the system. I will email you the plain message that i would email to the system - where it does not link the image in the produced article, but uploads it to the postbyemail server. |

I found the problem! The J1.5 version of PBM does not support the attachment container's title attribute, so instead of Код <img src="%s" title="%s" /> you should use Код <img src="%s" /> The second %s bugs the stuff. Here is the result:
