Nice extension, i get emails and attachments without problems manually. Unfortunately the cron job not working.
Using Cpanel, and I've added the commands I found in the support, but does not work.
Using Jommla 2.5, and Post By Email 1.7.

error reporting at max. is the only way to see why and what is not working. Error level must be on maximum, not on development. Check also component requirements - mbstring related errors.

I recommend you to check your error log. If your server don't have error log, activate them. You can activate log on your server in php.ini.

The cron jobs are supposed to be run internaly on the server. Therefore there is an additional layer for protection in the PBM's cron you ran into.

The following code resides on the top of the cron file and at the beginning of the controller's cron function:

If you want your cron to be accessible through HTTP, comment out this line in both files: cron.post_by_email.php and controller.php

P.S. I edited these files for you, you should be able to use the crom function via HTTP now...
