Attachment Not Saved [solved], Post by email Options

I send e-mail to Gmail with filename in brackets [thisisit10.png] within e-mail body and the same filename as the attachment. Message on the Administration panel is "The directory exists / is writeable: Yes / Yes"; mime types is "image/jpg;image/jpeg;image/pjpeg;image/png;image/gif"; html container is <img src="%s" title="%s" />

The article is created, no error message, but the png file is not saved and is not visible in the e-mail message.

E-mail was processed without error, I set maximum error reporting in Joomla Server panel and checked my server logs which had no entries. I'm e-mailing admin account details to you.

I am able to post a mail message that has text, but when I attach an image to the message, neither the message text nor the attachment are saved. Here is further information:

Settings:

Ivan, thank you for taking a look at this for me. I have sent two test emails to the address you specified, one without the file tag in the e-mail body, and one with the file tag in the e-mail body and also copied the same e-mails to myself which appear with an attachment as you can see here:

On my Joomla, I only see the article title, the attachment and the article text does not appear as in the following:

In either case I also do not see the attachment was saved in the directory specified in the Post By Email settings.

It is a bug. As the boundary of your message ends with the '=' character, it gets messed up by the component's logic. We will publish a new version of the component in a few hours, which will have one more feature in addition to this bug fixed. A description how to fix the bug manually might be found here:
