Fatal error: Call to a member function getUserStateFromRequest() on a non-object in /home/networkw/public_html/administrator/components/com_post_by_email/controller.php on line 65 I have MBString installed, although in your pre-requirements it says it needs to be installed and properly configured. I don't know if this has anything to do with the issue but I couldn't find any documentation one what needs to be configured for this? Please help! Thanks! |

I just purchased and installed Post By Email Pro in my Joomla 2.5 server and when I click on menu item in the administrator backend I get the following: Fatal error: Call to a member function getUserStateFromRequest() on a non-object in /home/networkw/public_html/administrator/components/com_post_by_email/controller.php on line 65 I have MBString installed, although in your pre-requirements it says it needs to be installed and properly configured. I don't know if this has anything to do with the issue but I couldn't find any documentation one what needs to be configured for this? Please help! Thanks! Most likely you have installed the PBM for Joomla 1.5 on your Joomla 2.5 site. Please install the correct archive. |

Most likely you have installed the PBM for Joomla 1.5 on your Joomla 2.5 site. Please install the correct archive. OK, so I feel really stupid that I didn't try that. I didn't even consider it since in the group of files in the zip are named in a way that I thought 2 of them are only if you Kunena, which I don't use. IE. "post_by_email_pro_j 25_1.6.0 for Kunena 2.0 and over.zip" and the other says for "kunena versions before 2.0.zip". I installed from the 1st one and now it's working. |
