1. Automatic import of images in K2 tab "Images". When is switched on, and in html code is img tag, first image tag is imported in tab "Images" in K2. Цитат If this option is set to Yes, the component will look for an image in the article's introtext and fulltext. The first one found will be set as article's image and will be removed from the text field.  2. Automatic import of keywords in K2 "Tags". Aggregator import automatically keywords from title of current content item. When function is switched on, keywords are imported automatically as tags in K2. New options for K2 are included in both versions of Scraper - for Joomla 1.5 and for Joomla 1.7. If you have problems with import of images in K2 from scraper, please, check this: all the K2 related folders must be writable include:
Код media/k2/items/src and: Код media/k2/items/cache

Hello there,
i actully receive some problems around this image import. First - when you have few images in article that we fetch - creating of general image in our k2 article - failed. Second - when you have image with .bmp or .png extension in article we fetch - creating of general image in our k2 article - failed. and p.s. when general image is created scraper dont remove image from article text, even if html striping is set to YES. Any suggestions about my problems ? Is all that can be because of my k2v.2.5.4 ? or J.2.5.1 ? |

Anywhere in our product is described that import of pictures work only with first picture and only in first tab - "Image"! This is only thumbnail of content item, not a gallery.
This K2 function not work with bmp files. Maybe you get me wrong, the exact problem is that agregat take image from content that we gived to him #starting tag CONTENT #ending tag . If we have more than 1 image in CONTENT - script fail and don't attach any image for main image of the k2 Article. This K2 function not work with bmp files. ??? K2 is working really good with .jpg, .png, .bmp for image extension. Is the scraper the one that not support .bmp images ? |

In k2 bmp files work, but without thumb function. Function to create thumbnails from any type of bmp dont exist at any time (Bitmap files are multiple types).
Aggregator import pictures from external sites. Is not possible to import pictures without resizing (this will broke site look). Is my mistake that i forgot to describe in description of functions of Scraper that import of images in K2 and local download not work if image is .BMP. Now in description of functions is written: Цитат BMP files are NOT supported

We are also having trouble with image import into K2. Both "media/k2/items/src" and "media/k2/items/cache" are writable but the jpegs that are being written those folders are truncated and won't show in the K2 article (only the broken link image icon). This also happens when we try to use the Download Images function.
The whole reason we purchased Joomla Scraper was to have the functionality of importing the first image of the feed into K2, but this does not work. Please, can anyone help us fix this? |
