When using my own mail account, with similar settings, e-mails are not fetched. I have tried to turn on error report, but nothing was recorded when executing pbm. Please help. |

I can't make it work. Using the test account provided by you, the e-mails are supposedily fetched, but do not appear in the articles section or the Kunena forum. When using my own mail account, with similar settings, e-mails are not fetched. I have tried to turn on error report, but nothing was recorded when executing pbm. Please help. I have managed to make it work. The mains problems were that my e-mail had an underscore character, which seems to affect PBM, and that the MD5 aliases was not selected. However, I am using sendEmail command-line application to post and the mail header is being import as content. Any way to make a rule strip normal text instead of HTML? |

I was able to fix the header issue by adding some str_replace after $content = trim($content); in controller.php, however this is a dirty hack. If anyone knows a definitive solution, will be much appreciated. |

Цитат(obsreal) I have setup a testing jopmla installation and a testing e-mail account and it worked. So I went to my main installation administration and started playing with the settings. There were two problems. First, it only works with "Use MD5 aliases" option selected. The second problem is that the e-mail address I have setup had an underscore character. It doesn't work with that. As soon as I removed the underscore, it worked. Problem solved. Thanks. 1. Duplicate content protection of joomla 1.6/1.7 is strange. If you try to post in content article with exact alias that already is in database, joomla 1.7 dont insert them. So, if you have some email imported in content with some title, exact title will be not inserted again. 2. Email boxes with underscores in email name have nothing to do. I just check again at all three different test servers - work excellent. With or without underscores. We found some bugs in latest version and component is updated today. I will send you update by email. -------------------- Правила на форума | Forum Rules | How to receive support. 3D Web Design: Уеб дизайн, Seo оптимизация, Web Site Extensions, Oscommerce Addons, Wordpress plugins and Joomla Extensions. What does "Publish Duration" mean and what are its parameters? (ver. 1.7)
No pop-up or description anywhere. Is Publish Duration anything to do with automatic retreval or emails? If not, is there an easy way to automate? I saw some code but it seemed to require the box used for sizes and colors. |
