Error Code I get when uploading:
* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* Warning: Failed to move file!

Below is my system information:
PHP Built On - Linux host409.hostmonster.com 2.6.32-46.1.BHsmp #1 SMP Tue Sep 6 12:18:02 MDT 2011 x86_64
Database Version - 5.1.58-community-log
Database Collation - utf8_general_ci
PHP Version - 5.2.17
Web Server - Apache
WebServer to PHP Interface - cgi-fcgi
Joomla! Version - Joomla! 1.7.0 Stable [ Ember ] 19-Jul-2011 14:00 GMT
Joomla! Platform Version - Joomla Platform 11.1 Stable+Modified [ Ember ] 01-Jun-2011 06:00 GMT
User Agent - Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.2.23) Gecko/20110920 Firefox/3.6.23

Could you please help me figure out why I can't upload the component.

What component and what version? Maybe first you can unzip file (some packages are wit title unzip)

Please, after install see this for support
