When I try to add a new feed from the backend component menu, I have an error when saving the data. Apparently a comma is missing in the SQL statement. Detailed error message is : JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1 SQL=INSERT INTO joo_mediarss (`feed_name`,`feed_description`, `feed_type`, `feed_cache` ,`feed_imgUrl`, `feed_button`, `feed_renderAuthorFormat`, `feed_renderHTML`, `feed_renderImages`, `feed_readMore`, `msg_count` , `msg_orderby`, `msg_numWords` , `msg_FPItemsOnly`, `msg_sectlist` , `msg_excatlist` , `msg_includeCats`, `msg_fulltext` , `msg_exitems` , `msg_contentPlugins`, `published`) VALUES ( 'homepage', '', '1.0', '', '', '', '1', '1', '1', '1' '', 'catsect', '-1', '1', '', '', '0', '0', '', '0', '1' ) |

after a quick search, apparently, there is a missing comma at line 252 in the source file:
/administrator/components/com_mediarss/models/feed.php |

Hello. This error is possible to see when you upgrade from previous version of Media rss.
To be sure make these steps: uninstall component, than open phpmyadmin and delete database table of component in database (jos_mediarss). Than install and test component again. Hello there,
Must be the month of the year because i'm having the same problems here (i think...). Installation of the component and module goes fine... After activating the module, i tried to make a feed with the component. But when i'm done and try to save the feed, the message (I) on top say's :Error Saving feed Is there a problem in the permissions, or just some bad code as described above? whe're using joomla 1.5.9.... My Joomla version is 1.5.23 and the version of the installed module for mod_mediarss is : 1.0.0 dated in May 2010 (!) I was nearly sure to have downloaded the last one version 1.2.0 (dated from septembre 2011 if I remember well)... Maybe the link I have clicked from your site or the Joomla extension website is wrong... I have to check at home, if I still have the ZIP file I have downloaded... Problem is solved in latest version - this is typing error in code in last update of extension. In previous version this error was not present.
Extension is updated today. 1.3 from 21 November 2012!
Reason for edit: new update - 11.2012
