This Plugin Make Seo Friendly urls (by use with sh404sef) of categories and properties inside Estate Agent Improved component.

How to Install:
Add plugin to "components/com_sh404sef/sef_ext".
Activate Your sh404sef component: Components->sh404sef->sh404SEF Configuration->Basic Configuration->set Enabled to YES.
Click on "Purge Sef urls" button.
Clear cache of your joomla.
Open web site and click on estate agent improved menu.

After install of v.1 You should expect urls like this:
site/properties/category-name-id
site/language/properties/category-name-id (for multilanguage sites)

You should rename in code "properties" by your choice.

i have just purchased this plugin for my joomla / estate agent improved site, and am attempting to install, but struggling with the following -
Add plugin to "components/com_sh404sef/sef_ext".

How do you do this...
If i go to extensions / plugin manager
The only remote similar one i see is "system - sef"
However there are no editable parameters or indeed anyway of adding the plugin....

public_html/components/com_sh404sef/sef_ext

ftp client is in example free software like filezilla - filezilla-project.org

After this:
Click on "Purge Sef urls" button.

Open web site and click on menu that point to Estate Agent improved component.
Ready.

that worked fine, although i do find that the estate agent improved quick search facility no longer works....

I have installed the plugin and visited urls are working, however all searching is not working just returns you to the category view page.

You can try latest quick search plugin from estate agent improved still does not work.
waste of money buying this as my searching no longer works and despite requesting some support i am being ignored,

turned off sh404sef, cleared cache and performed a search - worked correctly.

Deleted plugin, enabled sh404sef, purged cache and performed a search - worked correctly.

Uploaded plugin to /components/com_sh404sef/sef_ext purged cache performed a search - search does not work.

System SEF plugin:

In Joomla plugin manager you will see both a SEF plugin and a SH404SEF plugin. Both of these should be enabled. If you disable the core SEF plugin then you will have many errors especialy with image links not being created correctly when SEF is enabled for your site.

Make sure you have a working .htaccess file

In the sh404sef configuration, set "rewrite mode" to "with .htaccess (mod_rewrite)". This option is found in the "Advanced" tab, which is only visible in the extended view (if the advanced tab isn't there, then go to the main sh404sef panel and click on the big blue box on the right side above the table with the security information).

Plugin is working on over 50 sites. We dont test it with estateagent improved 1.5.2, we have 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 versions.
