Easiest way is to not import this rss feed too often.

feeds need to be updated quickly....any other way?
Also found /////// to be a problem.. Is there no way to strip these out on import.? |

Do you use option: enable SimplePie cache ?

marcelo, give us more info: version of extension and joomla, preferences of php and server, link to rss feed, some example, cron configuration (time between 2 imports).

You must configure cron in cpanel to run at every 3,5, or 15 minutes.
After this configure cron part in every feed. First of all, cache option of feed must be ON.
If this dont help: When cache not help, idea is to prevent double posting to import feed only when rss feed is refreshed. In this way if feed is refreshed at 24 hours, you must import feed after 25 hours for example.
