A revised version of Joomla Aggregator Platinum for Joomla 1.6 is released.

Some of the changes and impovements are:

- As there are no such things as sections in Joomla 1.6, these are stripped from the RSS feed's settings
- The "Category" select field in the RSS feed's settings now supports the Joomla 1.6's new feature: nested categories
- The download of images is improved (tab Download) and now work fine and faster.

A bug was fixed which caused all the images in a RSS feed item to be replaced with the first image in this item when importing the feed with image download enabled. In order to save disk space and time, a check was added whether an image have already been downloaded when parsing a previous item of the feed. Please note that this is a per feed import feature. The next time the feed is imported these pictures will be downloaded again, if presented, as this information is not stored in a DB.

The 1.6 version of Joomla Aggregator Platinum dont post tags in Advanced Tags and is not working with K2 - K2 dont have version for Joomla 1.6.

Our tag component - Advanced Tags will be available for Joomla 1.6 within two weeks. When Advanced Tags for Joomla 1.6 will be ready, posting in tags for Aggregator Platinum For Joomla 1.6 will be available also.


Sales of Aggregator Platinum for Joomla 1.6 are started today. Price is unchanged - $39 USD.

You can place your order over standart product Aggregator Platinum, but please, fill in comments your version of joomla to receive the right version!

Today is released new version v.1.1 of Joomla Aggregator Platinum For Joomla 1.6.

Changes:

- Small bugs are fixed
- Aggregator now post tags in tag component Advanced tags.

Advanced tags is our free tag component. Tag component is updated today and now work in Joomla 1.6.

Advanced Tags for Joomla 1.7 is released today. I recommend you to download update and use tag component with aggregator.
