Problem With Seo Links Plugin [solved], keywords next to tags aren't recognized Options

It took me a while to realize this, but whenever a keyword (or key phrase) is right next to an html tag it is not recognized.

This is very problematic because WYSIWYG editors constantly put tags right next to the words.

So for example, let's say you have a list in your document. If a keyword is one of your list items then it will not be recognized. So let's say the key word is "Dog" if you create a list and in that one of the items is "Dog" then even though it's by itself, in the HTML it's <li>Dog</li> and therefore the plugin doesn't recognize it. You have to turn off the WYSIWYG editor and forcibly put a space between the word and the tags to make the plugin recognize it.

This happens with span tags, table cells, lists, <strong> tags, <p> tags (if the keyword as at the beginning or end of the paragraph). It's a real nuisance.

Can this be fixed??

This problem could explain some of the problems I'm having with the plugin, and I would also like this flaw to be repaired, because I too have multiple links inside lists, tables etc.

People also need links inside other elements than just plain text, you know

And with what option of plugin You got this - with preg_replace or mb_eregi_replace?

Musica, seo links - both versions work anywhere in content. No matter in paragraph or in lists. But work only in content of content items, not anywhere in html of current page.

Use preg_replace (default option) for websites with latin characters and mb_eregi_replace with websites in other languages like german, spanish, cyrillic, chinese.

With preg_replace plugin of component can work only with latin, with mb_eregi_replace - with all characters on utf-8 sites. mb_eregi_replace is buggy on some servers with php 5.xx , we wait php 6 to work all perfect.

Sorry for the delay, it took me some time to realize how the forums worked and I didn't see that there were answers. I use preg_replace becasue I'm on an english server.

Are there any plans in the future to fix this problem. Very often a keyword will begin at the beginning of a paragraph so of course it would be right next to a <p> tag. Also because of WYSIWYG editors, you can't control a keyword being bumped up against a tag.
