Cron Job Not Working Options

I have set up my Cpanel for a cron job as described in this forum but no matter what I try, I can't get it to work.

I've contacted my host provider to check the code, and they tried to help me only so far--they don't really help 3rd party issues.

I've used the following:
/usr/local/bin/php -q /home/firedug/public_html/welkom/administrator/components/com_post_by_email/cron.post_by_email.php >> /dev/null

/usr/local/bin/php -q /firedug/public_html/welkom/administrator/components/com_post_by_email/cron.post_by_email.php >> /dev/null

curl -sS "http://mysite.com/administrator/components/com_post_by_email/cron.post_by_email.php" >> /dev/null

I know your joomla extension works because I can manually 'import' the emails. I just can't figure out how to get the cron job to work. Although I don't know all about php or any coding, I have never had any problem following directions for the other cron jobs that I've had to install in cPanel.

My PHP version is 5.2.11

If this url is working, problem is not in our component. Contact your hosting support - may be the path is not this.
