User question about double posting today:

Hi. I have issue I want to solve - double postings.

Double posting: The most urgent problem is doubble postings. This has been a huge problem for me. I have been testing with different cron parameters, but the problem is still there.

The strangest thing is that I receive 2 emails pr lead. But only with automatic cron job works at cpanel.


When I test it manually (import one or two feeds by marking the feeds and push the button Import - i receive only one emaill per feed.

I am confused bacause this has become a huge problem for me. I must now
disable a whole lot of articles and this should not be necessary.

Are you able to help? Please log on and maybe find what is wrong.

Hello. I just enter in Your website and see. Is not good idea to set crons to run at 0 minute of hour (like this: 0 0-23 * * * )

All of your feeds are configured to run every day between 0 and 23 hour at 0 minute!
Use some schedule like:


feed 1: 3 0-23 * * *
feed 2: 7 0-23/2 * * * (every other hour)
feed 3: 12 0-23 * * *

Good idea is to have some 2-4 minutes between runs.


And here, in cpanel configure something like this:

run at every third minute: */3 * * * *
or every other minute: */2 * * * *


Check after this and if you have again double posting, decision is only one.

If all items in Feed X are refreshed in one hour - run this feed minimum once at 2 hours.
If all items in Feed Y are refreshed in one day - run feed minimum once at 1 day and one hour.
