How To Change Image Size With Joomla Aggregator, change size of Images automatically Options

I've just started using Aggregator. I love it so far, but I'm wondering if I can control the size of the images that are included in imported articles.

If so and it is done through HTML code, could you give me a basic jump-start? For instance, could I make an image 600 pixels long? And if so, could I maintain it's original proportions? If I knew how to do that...if it can be done...I think I could take it from there.

Okay...I'll admit I'm still struggling with this. I just purchased the Platinum version. Do you think you could give me an example of how I would use HTML to control the image size. For example, could you show me how to specify an image width of 200 pixels? (Or whatever unit can be used.)

This is very simple, with our aggregator you can control all html and look of imported articles.

Example one:

You must add this code in "before item" field:

and add this code in "after item" field:

and than create in css of your template with options that you want, Something like this in css:

div#resize img{height: 200px;width: 200px;}

In this way all pictures imported from this feed will be resized in your website to 200 px.


Or may be Example two:

add this code in "before item" field:

In htmal code will be

and in css:

I'll try this...but if you modify the CSS of the template, won't images from ALL feeds be modified?

If you try changes in this way, all images imported from this feed will be resized to only one size.

You can use different id or class for different rss feeds. So pictures in items imported from feed one can be resized to one size and pictures in items imported from rss feed two can be resized to other size.

This function is in Aggregator Platinum only, In pro version is no option to contorl this.
Use field: Trim Intro (# chars)

I tried this but it breaks my site. It moves the entire left column to the bottom of the page. Plz help.

This is due on readmore tag. Check where readmore tag is and remove/move at other place in content. You can control place of this tag in Platinum and Scraper versions of aggregator.

How do I do it?

I do want to buy Scraper version but I want to be confident that it solves my purpose. If I have to do some coding after installation of this extension than I am little skeptical to buy it.
