User question about Joomla Scraper:

hello i have problem with my aggregator scraper when run cron i take this error "Unable to get properties for the image."
Could you please to tell me how to fix it?

The first question is: Is this error shown on page as warning or is fatal error?

"Unable to get properties for the image" error is thrown by the Joomla JImage class if the PHP function getimagesize return: false.
If accessing the file name image is impossible, getimagesize() function will generate an warning (error of level E_WARNING). On read error, getimagesize() will generate an error of level notice (E_NOTICE).

This mean the image is not readable, not exist or is not with valid image extension. Joomla checks if a file can be read, so the images which throw this error are probably not valid.

So, the answer is: Rss feed you use probably does not return valid pictures or only some picture is not with valid image extension.

Quote from Joomla Scraper documentation:

08 January 2013: V.1.8.0 for Joomla 2.5. It allows images without extension to be imported as well.

This works only in some cases, not always. So, will be good to post here link to this rss feed and to picture - if possible.
