Cannot Add A New Rss Feed Options

I initially had the lite version of Aggregator on my Joomla page, then decided to get the pro version because the lite version would not load the rss feeds. Initially I uninstalled the lite version and installed the pro version. My feeds would not show up on the page so I also removed all the feeds, and articles and started from scratch.

Now when I try to add a new feed I get an error message "Error saving feed". I shut down my computer, emptied the cache and tried again. still no go.

Any ideas why I'm having this issue? I didn't have any problems adding new feeds with the lite version.

This is only when you use custom server, or when you try to use your own computer for web server.
You have problem with joomla or achievements not achieved - php 5.2+ (or some php modue not installed) and server.

Both components work on more than 10,000 websites worldwide.

Just use some normal hosting, not your own computer. Server configuration is only for pro's who know how to configure them.

I am working on the web site off the server, not on my computer. Why is it that it worked with Aggregator Lite but not with the Pro version. I'm not trying to configer anything. I just want to add an RSS feed and it won't let me.

I'd rather not do all of this as I'm afraid I might break something.. this should not have to be done. When you install an extension into Joomla everything should be automatically set up.
