selecting add nofollow to outgoiong link does not add the required rel="nofollow" tag. The only thing that gets added is rel="external" How can i fix?

also, i've enabled my cron job on cpanel and i have it pointed to the correct cron file within the 3d_component folder and it does not trigger the cron. Even if I execute the cron file directly on the browser, i get a message that says import finished but nothing happens. Please help and fix. Thanks.

never mind - I figured this one item out - SOLVED. Had to put in a space in between each * in the cron file in order for it to work.

Requesting a new feature. You guys should add the ability to remove images from the feeds. This is specially important since some feeds pass through ads and they get posted as articles.

Another thing i wanted to ask, what does Strip HTML tags and Show HTML Content do? Will it eliminate those anoying ads that pheedo passes through? How could I strip the images from some of the feeds?

Strip HTML tags stripped html tags from title. This option filter all html tags in title.
Set to yes if rss source is rss feed from google blog search in example. In google blog search results in rss are in format (example):

Search for Web Design: www.blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch?q=web%20design&oe=utf-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wb
Rss of this search: www.blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds?oe=utf-8&um=1&q=web+design&ie=utf-8&num=10&output=rss

See that every title in which is search keyword is: some title <b>Web Design</b> ........

What does Show HTML Content do?
This should be to clean html tags from content and return clean text but at this time is not working properly. We fix it today.
You ask how to clean some images in content. No way to clean only <img> tag from rss source for now.

Is there any way to approve the rss feeds from the admin one at a time before they are published?

This is not component where users send rss feeds and admin publish on web site.

Aggregate, sort, import tags and Keywords, selection of encoding for imported news, included cronjobs functionality with choice of hour, day, week and month and many more Functions.

Every option is individual for every rss feed, included options for insert of html code before and after news (perfect for seo optimization).

Tested on High Traffic Automatically working Portal with only RSS News with 5000 unique Visitors for 2 Years, work excellent with sh404sef and other sef components.

Like wise. I have the lite version. Nofollow is not added even though it is checked yes. Can you help please?

This is possible. We fix in next version.

Such problems do not exist in all three paid versions of aggregators (link is comparison of aggregation functions).

I have added a cronjob to my cpanel for the file administrator/components/com_3daggregator/cron.3daggregator.php
but it doesn't seem to work when i make a cronjob in my rss feed.
What could be going wrong?

If url address is open and you configure cron in cpanel, may be automatic import by cron is not working.

I figured it out.

This gives up any control that the setting inside the module would have, but it doesn't work, so it doesnt really matter anyway.

1. Find the file named controller.php
2. Located in /administrator/components/com_3daggregator/
3. About line 510 find this code: $readonlink .= '<strong>'.$linkTxt.'</strong> <a '.$follow.' class="rssreadon" rel="external" ';
4. Change the last part: rel="external" to rel="nofollow"

Since the link is created on import, this change WILL NOT AFFECT ANY CURRENT ARTICLES. You will have to manually change the link in each article.

OR

You can delete all your articles and re-import them all from your feed.
