No, only your server admin/host support will know more. If error reporting is on max. and on page is no error, we cant know why.

is this component support Thai language?
i just purchased it yesterday and tried to config base on your explaination.

Aricle was imported. it show only English word but not Thai word.

Component work perfect with utf-8 encoding. If encoding of email is utf-8, 100% of content will be imported. Previous week we have a support ticket from one man from Thailand - tested from me and working.

If you have troubles with some email box, check this email settings or test component with other email box.

About <br/>: you have option to strip or not html tags. If is switched off, content will be imported unchanged, with html tags.

Suggestion: in the instruction for converting image attachments into inline images for blog you could also suggest to add the heigh and width control tag for automatic resizing to stay in template size - maybe not all non-expert knows this ... and would be looking for a solution:

HTML Container -> <img src="%s" title="%s" height="XXX" width="ZYX" />

How does it handle the case where I send the email from my iPhone and I don't know what is the name of the attached file? Also on iPhone I can "Copy" images from my album and then "Paste" them into the email body... is this supported.

(not sure how other phones work but I don't think they give you an option to name the pictures you make with your camera)

I want to get this mostly so people can create articles from their phones directly after taking a picture... just click "email" and put some simple subject (for a title) and some body (for the text of the article). If this is supported I'm getting your extension.

I'll send you four emails:

1. email with a single image attached - the image will say "Single Image 1"; the subject "Single Image 1 subject"; the body "Single Image 1 body text"
2. email with single image attached - the image will say "Single Image 2"; the subject "Single Image 2 subject"; the body "Single Image 2 body text"
3. an email with 3 images included in the body - the images will say "1", "2", "3" and will be placed in the body in that order; the subject will be "Multi images 1-2-3 subject"; the body will have a description of each image before that image occurs in the body.
4. an email with 3 images included in the body - the images will say "4", "5", "6" and will be placed in the body in that order; the subject will be "Multi images 4-5-6 subject"; the body will have a description of each image before that image occurs in the body.

I really only care for the first two cases as this will be the "usage" that I need... but will send you these emails so you can test. I'll be sending them from an iPhone but please let me know if you want me to send them with something else too... I have a Samsung Galaxy laying around.

I want to make sure that the second single image doesn't appear in the first article (or the other way around based on which email gets to you first).

Also for the case when the image is an attachment (vs. placed within the body).... is it possible to not have this image included in the body of the joomla article at all but to have it assigned to the "Full article image" in Joomla? (Say if there is no tag within the email body content, then make it the "Full article image"... but if there is a tag place it within the article at that position)

Just sent the emails and I see that the image is actually showing in the body of the email even when I send it as a single image from within the "albums". So if there is no way to tell if an image is placed within the content or if it is outside as a standalone attachment, then I guess I only need to know that the images from different mails will not get mixed up.

Well, the PBM does not worked as expected right out of the box. But we fixed it... Here is the result:

You may alter the html which delimits the content. I chose a HR tag.

The way to tell if an image is placed within the content or if it is outside as a standalone attachment is to look at its disposition header bit: it is either inline or attachment. In your e-mails these all were: inline.

Almost everything can be achieved as a behaviour - it will require some additional work, though...

my articles are getting a random string of letters and numbers at the bottom. How do I suppress this?

@Clint, this is due on your email content, this string don't come from component. Check header of imported email and you will see this string.

Truying to include a picture with an email. I did it like in the topic, the photo is loaded in the right directory media/postbyemail but i can't see it in the article. The article is post correct but no pics. A sollution for this?

What do you mean: "loaded"? Is it uploaded via FTP (wrong approach) or it is attached to the e-mail, then parsed by the PBM and saved in the attachments directory (correct approach)?

Check if the MIME type of the image is listed in the accepted MIME types setting (should be: it accepts GIF, JPG and PNG by default).

If the problem is not solved, send us the same e-mail at test_test[at]3dwebdesign.org (do not forward the previous message, please send us a fresh one). We will dig in to check what is happening...
