I attempted to find out how images were handled prior to purchasing the extension but couldn't find anything in your documentation on that subject. Thanks for any help you can provide. Melanie |

Please, see this picture and read guide in forum - all is written in Post by Email topic.
Цитат The attached file's name enclosed in square brackets must be placed somewhere in the message's body. If you want to put the image FLowERs.JPG somewhere in your article, attach it to the e-mail message and put the text [FLowERs.JPG] where you want the image to appear in your message's body. If the attached file's tag is not found within the message's body it WILL NOT be added at the end automatically.

I've created the required "postbyemail" folder on my server and have verified that it is set up correctly in the Post By Email parameters ("The directory exists / is writeable: Yes / Yes"). However, when I attach an image to an e-mail, it does not appear embedded in the post. Rather, a link to the image is appended at the bottom of the post. Is this by design? My assumption was that the image itself would appear in the post rather than a link to the image. I attempted to find out how images were handled prior to purchasing the extension but couldn't find anything in your documentation on that subject. Thanks for any help you can provide. Melanie Thank you very much. I did read the instructions but missed that part somehow. |
