Description of the completely revised new version of Payments For Joomla for Joomla 3 and Joomla 2.5.

Component Requires the mbstring php extension! This requirement come from joomla 2.5 and is important also for any Joomla 2.5 working with non-latin characters.



Install steps:
1. Install the Payments component;
2. Install at least one payment method plugin (PayPal, static HTML, etc.);
3. Install at least one payment type (action) plugin;
4. Set the PFJ's cron job (using your cPanel or similar tool). Set the cron command to something like:

Make money online with Joomla and Mosets Tree Payments!

A completely revised new version of the Mosets Tree Payments (MTP) component for Joomla 1.6 - 2.5 is released.

In fact, it is now rather Joomla Payments component than Mosets Tree Payments component as it can manage payments for other components with the same ease as it does for Mosets Tree.

The payment processors are now completely separated from the payment types. Both the payment methods and the payment types are now separate plugins, installable by the Joomla installer. You can add or remove, enable or disable each of them as you do with a regular Joomla plugin. The MTP component integrates these plugins in a versatile payment system which can be managed and expanded with ease.



Currently available payment methods:

• UBB Virtual POS Terminal
• Static HTML - can be used for offline payments and bank transfer payments.

Currently available payment types:

• Mosets Tree VIP listiings: marks listings as featured for a specified period of time (in days); Custom hidden field with "date type" will be created in Mosets Tree. Id of this field must be in configuration of mtvip plugin.
• Mosets Tree auto publisher: marks listings as approved and published and sends a notification to a specified e-mail address;
• Mosets Tree follow / nofollow links: follow / nofollow links in the Mosets Tree listings;
• Special Content Viewer (additional price 9 usd): allows you to hide a portion of an article, which becomes visible to the user after a subscription payment is made;
• Mosets Tree download manager: pay to download attached in listing file. Attach file to some listing, set price, description of payment and number of downloads. User can download attached file only after payment. After payment user can download only file attached in listing that has paid.

If you want to non-registered user can add listings and pay for publish status you can use built-in in package plugin plg_mtp_mtpublish.zip.

After submit of new listing from non-registered user, user will see published payments, something like this:

Plugin is Mosets Tree follow link. This plugin change status of rel parameter of url address in listing - follow/nofollow. After payment nofollow attribute of url address in listing disappear.

Example:
1. You can create in administrattion new payment type for follow parameter.
2. All links in submitted listings are with rel="nofollow" attribute.
3. When user pay, rel="nofollow" disappear and link going to dofollow.

This action plugin is included for free in component package. All users can update for free your version of Mosets Tree Payments from menu my orders.

A new action plugin for Payments for Joomla is released: Special Content Viewer.

If the text (of the article) contains a special tag, the text below the tag is hidden from non-subscribed users and they are offered a payment form to subscribe in order to view the hidden content. The subscribed users view the full text.

Currently it works in com_content and in K2. It can easily be made to work in Virtuemart, Zoo or wherever a content plugin can be fired.

Today Static HTML payment is added to Mosets Tree payments. This plugin can be used for offline payments like bank transfer payments. User publish new listing and on screen is appeared text described from you in admin. Something like:



Text can be clear text or html. This plugin is added to Mosets Tree Payments for free. All subscribers can download for free this update.
Plugin is only for joomla 2.5 version.

A new version of the component (3.1.0) is already published in our site. Updated are component and plugins.

The defined payments are now assigned to an installed language. The users see only the payments assigned to the current language.

The languages must be present (not necessary published) in the Language Manager in order to be used with the component.

You may set a default language in the component's settings. If no payment is defined for a particular task in a particular language, the plugin will display the payment methods (if any), defined for that task in the default language.

If you upgrade the component, you must upgrade the plugins as well.

The auto publisher plugin now sends an email with the defined payments to the listing submitter, if an email is set in the listing.

Today Download plugin is added to Mosets Tree Payments. This is action plugin that can be used to create online store within Mosets tree to sale digital products like pictures, pdf's, software, zip archives and others.

How this work?

1. You can attach file to every listing in Mosets Tree in core field named "file".
2. Install and publish plugin.
3. Create new payment in admin to download files. You can set price for payment and number of downloads, e.g. how many time user will be able to download the file with one payment.





4. User will navigate trough site and when open some listing with attached file see message to pay for download.
5. Plugin work only for registered users. If user is non-registered, see message "A content on this page is available only to users that are both registered and subscribed. Please login to view either the hidden content or the subscription form."
6. After payment user can download only current file.



This plugin is only for joomla 2.5 version and is added to Mosets Tree Payments component for free.

Plugin have "install.txt" file inside - please, read this file before install. The plugin alters some of the MTree's behaviour in order to achieve its goal - to hide the attached files and to allow only the subscribed users to download them limited number of times. It tries to apply the changes automatically, but if it fails (e.g. because the MTree's version has changed), you have to do the changes manually.

When uninstalling the component, the install script will try to restore the original state of MTree. If it fails for some reason, you may do it manually as well. Just do the above two steps in reverse, restoring the MTree.

Yet another plugin for Mosets Tree Payments is already published for FREE in Mosets Tree Payments package: Mosets Tree Expired Listings.

Mosets Tree Expired Listings allows you to set an expiration period for every user submitted listing and to sell prolongation of this period.

The plugin has only one parameter: Notification days. It is a comma separated list of the days before expiration when a notification is to be sent to the listing owners.



You need to set the days_to_expire Mosets Tree hidden setting before use Mosets Tree Expired Listings plugin.

1. Go to your admin panel and open Components => Mosets Tree => Configuration.
2. Add &show=all to the URL in your browser and hit the Enter key.
3. Open Listing tab. A bunch of hidden options will show up. The days_to_expire option can be found at the bottom of the page.




How this work:

• you configure when expire new listings and how much cost
• before expire, plugin send email to all users that are owners of listings exoired in X days like "your listing will be unpublished in x days, pay to publish listing again"
• after payment, listing period will be extended with some number of days that you configure in admin

How you can use this plugin: If you have subscription for Mosets Tree Payments you can download and use it for free. Just download latest version of Mosets Tree Payments - plugin is in package. Install over joomla installer and use.

Today Sports Predictions usergroup payment is included for free in Mosets Tree Payments package.

A "Content Authors" content plugin for Payments for Joomla component is released. ("Payments for Joomla" is new name of "Mosets Tree Payments").

With this plugin you can make automated paid website where users login, pay for author group access, publish content, author subscription expire and plugin sent multiple notifications to "expired" authors to pay again. After payment, user subscription is extended with relevant number of days again.

Soon component "Payments for Joomla" (previous name Mosets Tree Payments) will be mandatory for every joomla site. Payments for Joomla will have plugin for every popular joomla component. For now component have 9 plugins - for content, k2, Mosetstree and for Sports predictions.

The problem is that you are trying to install a Payments For Joomla plugin (namely PayPal) while you have Mosets Tree Payments installed instead of PFJ.

Uninstall MTP and install PFJ. Then install the plugins.

Are old component and plugins uninstalled?

1. Needed to be completely uninstalled component and plugins - be sure that all files and database tables are removed.
2. Install new component - payments for joomla
3. Install new plugins.
4. Install sports predictions before install sports predictions payment plugin.
