Web Design Seo Forum _ Joomla Extensions _ Error: ***error (com_kunena) Unable To Post Message: Cannot Save Topic: Category 0 Doesn't Exist!

Posted by: Marlon Dec 2 2013, 11:40 AM

Hello

When importing emails for Kunena forum for a category where registered users can post but do not see it, only administrators can see this category generates the error (in messages of import):

teste1: ***ERROR (com_kunena) Unable to post message: Cannot save topic: Category 0 doesn't exist!

After this error, the email is deleted but not created any record in the Kunena forum regarding this email.

I need the category with this permission for the following reason: I want the emails imported from registered users are not visible to them until an administrator moderation.

Could you help me with this error please?

thank you

I think that mail subject is wrong. Read from above link carefully.

I read but I still have doubts. In the post-by-email setup, there is a session "Kunena" and "Forum" field where I choose the target category of emails imported.

Would not only select the category on this site so that all emails are saved on it imported? Because the subject of the email has something to do with it?

My above comment is important only if you are trying to import emails as replay.
Can you provide more details about your configuration. Best will be to send me access to administrator and FTP.

Hi

I fill Thread ID. Now show message: teste22: ***ERROR (com_kunena) Unable to post message: Cannot save topic: Subject is empty!

What information exactly is going on "Thread Id" field? It is the code of the topic created in Kunena? And if it is a new topic (which will be created from the imported email of customer), how to proceed?

Thanks.
